Pulseaudio: συγχώνευση καναλιών stereo σε mono

Μου έχουν χαλάσει τα ηχεία (μάλλον το jack που συνδέει τα 2 στο woofer) και παίζει μόνο το ένα κανάλι. Έχω από παλιά κι ένα αρχειάκι mp3 που στο ένα κανάλι παίζει "τα παπάκια" και στο άλλο το "fear of the dark" για να τεστάρω.
Όταν δίνω χειροκίνητα τις εντολές για να συγχωνευθούν τα 2 κανάλια του stereo σε ένα κανάλι mono, και το αλλάζω από το pavucontrol παίζει μια χαρά. Όταν την ίδια εντολή την καταχωρώ στο /etc/pulse/default.pa και κάνω restart το pavucontrol μου λέει cannot connect to the server.

Σας περιγράφω τι κάνω για να μου πείτε αν εντοπίζεται κάποιο λάθος:

παίρνω το κάτω sink που ξέρω ότι είναι αυτό που παίζει και δίνω

$ pacmd load-module module-remap-sink sink_name=mono master=alsa_output.pci-0000_00_14.2.analog-stereo channels=2 channel_map=mono,mono

Πράγματι, στο pavucontrol, στο Output Devices εμφανίζεται επιπλέον καταχώρηση "Remapped: sink bla bla bla mono". Αν επιλέξω αυτό, τότε ακούω μια χαρά ΟΛΟΝ τον ήχο μονοκάναλα. Αλλά θέλει την ίδια διαδικασία μετά από κάθε reboot.

Θεωρητικά, αν έβαζα την εντολή

θα έπρεπε μετά από κάθε restart να παίζει μονοκάναλα. Ωστόσο, όχι μόνο δεν παίζει μονοκάναλα. ΔΕΝ ΠΑΙΖΕΙ ΚΑΘΛΟΥ

Κάνω κάτι λάθος;

1ον, την εντολή για το load-module θα τη βάλεις στο τέλος του αρχείου, όχι στην αρχή. Πολύ σημαντικό.

2ον, αμέσως από κάτω θα βάλεις:

set-default-sink mono

3ον, βεβαιώσου ότι τρέχεις το pavucontrol ως απλός χρήστης και όχι ως root.

1ον, την εντολή για το load-module θα τη βάλεις στο τέλος του αρχείου, όχι στην αρχή. Πολύ σημαντικό.

2ον, αμέσως από κάτω θα βάλεις:

set-default-sink mono

Αυτό ήταν! Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ. Ήταν όντως σημαντικό να μπει στο τέλος του αρχείου η καταχώρηση.

hint για όσους αντιμετωπίσουν παρόμοιο πρόβλημα στο μέλλον: για να δουλεύει σωστά το volume-applet του panel στο γραφικό περιβάλλον που χρησιμοποιεί ο καθένας πρέπει να οριστεί από τα properties, το applet να αντιστοιχεί στο remaped κανάλι.
