Thunderbird "Supernova" 115.10.0 fixes:

• Creating a tag in General Settings with a number as the tag name did not work
• Quick Filter button selections did not persist after restart
• Collapsing and expanding message list headers sometimes caused header to scroll out of view
• Single message with no children inside a parent thread sometimes displayed incorrectly as a thread with a duplicate of itself as its child
• "Get selected messages" menu items did not work
• "Download and Sync Messages" dialog was too short when using Russian locale, obscuring OK button
• After changing password on an IMAP account, the account could become locked due to too many failed login attempts
• Retrieving multiline POP3 message from server failed if message chunk ended in newline instead of carriage return and newline
• IMAP, POP3, and SMTP Exchange autoconfiguration did not support encryption configuration
• Non-empty address book search bar interfered with displaying/editing contacts
• Deleting attendees from "Invite Attendees" view removed attendees from view, but not from invite
• Splitter arrow between task list and task description did not behave as expected
• Performance improvements and code cleanup
• Security fixes

έχει σταματήσει το CardBook να δουλεύει
και έτσι δεν μπορώ να έχω τις επαφές του google.

Αν εισαι στην 125, υπαρχει αυτο το bug report. Αλλα η 125 ειναι ακομα beta.

Ακυρο, δεν εινια η 125 beta, αλλα η 126b3 (σημερα). Οποτε ποιος βαφτησε stable την 125?

Τώρα βλέπω ότι έκαναν βλακεία με την 125.
Την έβγαλαν stable και ακόμα την έχουν διαθέσιμη για dw.
Αν πας να κάνεις rollback στην 115.10.2 σου λέει ότι πρέπει να φτιάξεις νέο προφίλ.
Στο change log της 125 δεν εμφανίζει πλέον τίποτε.
Επίσημα στην σελίδα τους δίνουν την 115.10.2.

Be on the lookout in bugzilla, support and elsewhere for users who are unwittingly on 125.0 (or 126.0).

Andrei warned on 4/26 that it is not production - it is not until it is announced as such, but people are treating it as if it is. We knew people would find it because it is public at https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/125.0/. But it is suprising the extent to which people who might know better think it is production. Or that manual or automated scripts are not smart enough to recognize it is not production, and only looking for a higher version number. A few think it is an official beta. (it is not our official beta) Some think it is the immediate, live successor to 115.

It remains to be seen whether it will develop into a significant challenge for us. I have a document at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...PMSYU1OsKhlZ0/ so we can track the activity. So far we see some distros, desktop maintenance/management software (eg Patch My PC), web "journalists", and users treating this as production.

Hi all,

Eagle-eyed contributors may have noticed the presence of a Thunderbird 125.0 candidate build on the FTP site. This is our first attempt at doing a monthly release similar to Firefox's, where a release build follows the beta each month.

These builds are in very early stages, and we don't recommend anyone use them yet. Soon, we will release a version of Thunderbird 115 that moves ESR users to an ESR channel, freeing up the release channel. This channel move will not have any visible effect for users and is for internal release management and infrastructure purposes. Soon™ after that point we will make these builds available on the website in some capacity.

These monthly release builds will eventually become the default download on the website, but not until many months of QA and process refinements occur, and we are 100% certain that we can deliver a quality release.
