Update bios και raid.

Καλησπέρα σε όλους.

Η απορία μου είναι η εξής. Έχω 2 seagate σε raid0 , στο οποίο έχω τα προγράμματα και τα παιχνίδια που χρησιμοποιώ.

Εάν κάνω bios update λογικά θα πρέπει πριν να κάνω ένα clear cmos. Θα χρειαστεί rebuild το raid?

Λογικα θα στο εξαφανισει αλλα μπορει με συνεχομενες ρυθμισεις στο bios στο raid να στο επαναφερει αλλα ισως να χρειαζεται format. Διαβασε παρομοια περιπτωση


The BIOS update apparently decided to re-configure my CMOS and I lost my D: drive SATA-RAID array. After at least 5 solid hours of playing and reconfiguring CMOS, the board has recognized the D: drive array -- but of course it's corrupted! Being re-formatted as I write.

The secret finally came out in the CMOS configuration of the peripherals. Played with the various RAID configurations until one finally recognized the second RAID array. This is obviously going to be slightly different with each MoBo/CMOS setup.

I found the various (3) on-board RAID setups (on my MoBo)in the CMOS to be rather confusing in their terminology and I must have tried at least a couple of dozen or more combinations before it worked. It's time consuming because you have to boot right through to the Windows desktop each time to see if it's the right combination.

Δεν υπαρχει κανενα προβλημα.
Απλα μετα την αναβαθμιση του bios πρεπει να κανεις τα εξης:
1. load setup defaults (αυτο επρεπε να το κανεις ετσι και αλλιως μετα απο μια αναβαθμιση bios).
2. Να ορισεις ο ελεγκτης δισκων να ειναι σε RAID mode.

Τιποτα αλλο -πλην αλλων ασχετων ρυθμισεων που θα εκανες ειτε ειχες raid, ειτε οχι, οπως το boot sequence, κτλ.

Ωραία, οπότε γυρνάω σε default και κάνω update.

Για το 2 εννοείται Πατεντ, πως αλλιώς θα το δει το ρημάδι το raid:p
