Επιστροφή στο Forum : Debian testing κλείνει ξαφνικά

Έχω περάσει εδώ και κανά μήνα περίπου την testing και το πρόβλημα που έχω είναι πως εκεί που δουλεύω κανονικά στον υπολογιστή, μαυρίζει η οθόνη και προσπαθεί να κάνει επανεκίνηση μόνο του χωρίς όμως αποτέλεσμα. Πατάω το power να κλείσει και το ξεκινάω πάλι από την αρχή κανονικά. Το περίεργο είναι πως μπορεί να περάσουν και 3 ημέρες χωρίς να το κάνει και καμιά φορά μέσα σε 20 λεπτά να το κάνει 2 φορές.
Εν τω μεταξύ βγάζει ένα μήνυμα να τσεκάρω τον x.org και αν είναι η τελευταία έκδοση.

Ποστάρω το μήνυμα που παίρνω στο /var/log/Xorg.0.log
δεν το περνάω όλο γιατί είναι κατεβατό.

σημειωτέον πως πρόκειται για έναν φορητό ΗΡ 512ram.

Βέβαια με καμία άλλη διανομή δεν το έχει ξανακάνει, έχουν περάσει από εδώ αρκετές. Εϊχα βάλει παλαιότερα stable και δεν είχα πρόβλημα, αλλά ηταν αρχαία τα πακέτα και το γύρισα σε testing.

Επίσης δεν ξέρω πως να κάνω επανεγκατάσταση τον Χ

Είχα κι εγώ αυτό το πρόβλημα χρησιμοποιώντας τον GDM (με τον KDM κανένα πρόβλημα). Λύθηκε αφού πρόσθεσα στο xorg.conf μου την επιλογή

Μην ξεχάσεις να επανεκκινήσεις τον Xorg αφού αλλάξεις το αρχείο, π.χ. με επανεκκίνηση του υπολογιστή ή κάνωντας log out και πατώντας μετά Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.

Τόσο καιρό που είναι frozen το testing, θα έπρεπε να το είχαν διορθώσει. Τώρα βέβαια το Lenny πρόκειται να βγει καθυστερημένα, οπότε βλέπουμε...

Όσο για τη ρύθμιση, μακάρι να ήξερα. Αν κρίνω από το όνομα, επηρεάζει το acceleration method, τη μέθοδο επιτάχυνσης γραφικών. Στο διαδίκτυο βρήκα να την προτείνουν για προβλήματα σχετικά με chipset της Intel, ενώ δημιουργεί προβλήματα σε χρήστες με άλλα chipset.
