Φορτώστε ΟPTWARE σε Router που τρέχει Tomato Firmware.

Eτσι λοιπόν Φόρτωσα το TOMATO ND USB Firmware από τον teddy bear και αμμέσως μετά ένα πλήρες πακέτο Οptware, και τώρα έχω μετατρέψει το ROUTER σε SERVER - DOWNLOADES - BLOGER e.t.c. :rofl:

Σε 2 εβδομάδες περίπου θα ανεβάσω νέα έκδοση με περισσότερα Aplications.

Bέβαια έχω "μλέξει με Σελίδες και Φόρουμ και μου μένει λίγος χρόνος, αλλά κάτι θα κάνουμε... :)

Καλημέρα φίλε Dagalidis

πρώτη φορά ασχολούμε με dd-wrt, optware και tomato firmwares και μπορώ να πω ότι ''i have lost the ball ''. αυτό που έχω καταφέρει μέχρι τώρα είναι να περάσω την τελευταία έκδοση dd-wrt (το Ν16 όντως πετάει) αλλά δεν μπορώ με τίποτα να mount τους usb σκληρούς μου δίσκους. Έτσι αποφάσισα να περάσω σε tomato γιατί διάβασα ότι έτσι μόνο θα δώ τον WD 1TB MY BOOK. Πορπαθώ να καταλάβω πώς θα γίνει η εγκατάσταση μέσω του fora σου αλλα nothing. Βασικά δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω πως θα κάνω copy το scriptaki στο tmp folder. Όσους ftp clients και αν έχω δοκιμάσει δεν μπορούν να συνδεθούν με τον router.
Ξέχασα να αναφέρω ότι μέχρι τώρα δουλεύω με win 7 64 bit και σε λίγη ώρα το μηχάνημα μου θα είναι dual boot με Ubuntu 10.04
Κάθε βοήθεια ευπρόσδεκτη!!!

Αλλος ενας κατοχος του RT-N16, μιας και σε προσφατο ταξιδακι στην Αμερικη το βρηκα σε ελκυστικη τιμη (~70e) και δεν κρατηθηκα!! :)
Δυστυχως δεν εχω βρει ακομη χρονο να το στησω μαζι με το 585v7 που εχω εως τωρα...
Κι εγω αρχαριος με dd-wrt αλλα ορεξη να χουμε...
Ελπιζω συντομα να ειμαι σε θεση να πω εντυπωσεις...

Μια ερωτηση για αρχη... Ποιο ειναι το καλυτερο firmware να του περασω? Το TOMATO ND USB Firmware από τον teddy bear, οπως αναφερει ο Dagalidis??

Επίσης αν ειναι εύκολο καποιος φίλος να ανεβάσει το TOMATO ND USB Firmware από τον teddy bear γιατί το Linksys forum μάλλον τα έχει ''παίξει''.

Λοιπόν επανέρχομαι στο θέμα μας :)

το TOMATO ND USB Firmware φορτώθηκε στο Ν16 καθώς και το optware πακέτο 9.5.
Ο σκληρός δίσκος ειναι mount και το transmission δουλεύει ασταμάτητα :) .

και συνεχίζω να το ''ψάχνω'' το άτιμο.

Φυσικά πολλά ευχαριστώ στο συμφουρίτη Dagalidis και στο τόσο προσεγμένο και κατατοπιστικό site του xtremecoders.org

Εχω περασει κι εγω το Tomato firmware αλλα οχι το optware ακομα, γιατι δεν ειμαι σιγουρος εαν το χρειαζομαι!

To transmission ειναι για torrents, σωστα??
Εγω το μονο που θελω ειναι http download και συγκεκριμενα απο filehosters (rapidshare, netload κλπ).
Υπαρχει κατι τετοιο μεσα στο optware??

Λοιπόν παλουκάρια μου.

Ετοίμασα και ένα νέο πακέτο.
Συγκεκριμένα μετέτρεψα το πακέτο του Valerakvb έτσι ώστε να μπορεί να τρέχει σε Τοmato Firmware.

This is Final Version of the Script.
Tested - is Working and now it's time for your help to DEBUG it if any Bugs appears.

Changed Completely the mounting Method.
Now you can Just Plug - Unplug the USB HDDs without any Problem with mounting and Starting the Services.
You don't have to worry if you use 2 HDDs, about the USB port you have to use.
Just Plug the optware & Data HDDs and mounting is auto with correct assignment.
