Επιστροφή στο Forum : Ερώτηση:Είμαι ο μόνος που έχει υψηλά pings ή είναι κι άλλοι;
Από ταχτύτητες πάει γενικά καλά (384/128) για downloads και uploads. Μερικές φορές όμως δεν μπορώ να μπω σε καμία ιστοσελίδα για αρκετή ώρα (ενώ μπορώ να είμαι σε κάποιο p2p ή στο IRC).
Επίσης εδώ και κάτι βδομάδες δεν έχω καθόλου καλό ping σε παιχνίδια (βλ. Counter-Strike όπου σε ελληνικούς servers έχω ping έως 100, loss στο 0, αλλά choke από 3 έως όσο του κατεύει), παρά μόνο σε ιταλικούς servers (αν και από σήμερα αυξήθηκε τρελλά και σε αυτούς).
Έχει κανείς άλλος παρόμοιο πρόβλημα; Θέλω να ξέρω μόνο αν οφείλεται σε μένα ή είναι πάλι της tellas το κόλλημα. Ευχαριστώ.

Άρα το πρόβλημα οφείλεται σε μένα; Δοκίμασα κι εγώ να κάνω ping στα ίδια IP και άλλες φορές έβγαλε τα ίδια με σένα και άλλες τα έβγαλε σε τριψήφιους αριθμούς ή ακόμα και σε timed-out. Τι μπορεί να φταίει; Έχω χάλια γραμμή;

Να μαντέψω ότι όταν κάνεις το ping, έχεις κλειστά ΟΛΑ τα p2p καθώς και προγράμματα που χρησιμοποιούν bandwidth;
Αν όχι, κλείστα.
Αν ναι, κάνε nestat από το Command Prompt και δες αν υπάρχουν ESTABLISHED connections ΕΚΤΟΣ των localhost.

Άμα φταίει ο ΟΤΕ πώς μπορώ να το ξέρω;
Όταν κάνω ping στο command prompt, έχω μόνο το antivirus και το firewall να τρέχουν, δεν πρέπει να είναι από αυτό.
Απ'όσο είδα πάντως, ενώ έχω καλές ταχύτητες γενικά, οι ιστοσελίδες πολλές φορές δεν κατευαίνουν σαν να μην υπάρχουν (και χωρίς να επιβαρύνω την σύνδεση) καθώς και στα παιχνίδια, δεν έχω καθόλου καλό upload rate (σε αντίθεση με το download rate που είναι πολύ καλό).
Άμα είναι, αφού οι περισσότεροι λέτε ότι όλα καλά, ίσως το πρόβλημα οφείλεται στην περιοχή μου, δεν ξέρω.

ποια εντολη πρεπει να δωσω για να δω ποια πορτς ειναι ανοιχτα??
Τελικά η λύση βρέθηκε. Το πρόβλημα με τα pings οφειλόταν στις ρυθμίσεις του modem (Prestige 650R-31). Τελικά αυτά τα modem είναι πάρα πολύ καλά, αλλά και πολύ παλούκι μέχρι να φέρει κανείς τις ρυθμίσεις στα μέτρα του :?

Το thread αναφέρεται σε pings και αν και είναι σχεδον αυτονόητο οτι η ουσία του αφορα τα online games,γίνεται ακομα πιο συγκεκριμένο αφου ο cyborg αναφέρεται σε ping,loss,choke στο counter-strike.
Το να κάνουν post κάποιοι ping replies απο το emp.gr η το ntua.gr η απο αλλους άσχετους servers οσο κι αν εχουν κάποια ενδεικτική αξία μικρή σημασία έχουν για αυτο που πραγματικά ενδιαφέρει καποιον που παίζει online games.
Απο ενα σημείο και περα δηλαδή κατανταει spam...
Τέλως πάντων επειδη αναφέρθηκε κατι για υψηλό choke για ότι αφορά loss kai choke τον μεγαλύτερο ρολο παίζουν το cmdrate kai to updaterate!
Παντως μάλλον πρεπει να δημιουργηθεί ένα πιο εξειδικευμένο thread στην κατηγορία online gaming για να συγκρίνουμε in game pings με διαφορους providers και παντα αναφερόμενοι στα rates που χρησιμοποιούμε και σε τυχον tweaks.

αυτο παλι το ing εγω δεν το εχω ξαναδει
ρε συ cyborg αν μπορεις πες τι εκανες γιατι με τρελλαινει στα spikes και μενα...
Δεν είμαι σίγουρος, αλλά πρέπει να οφειλόταν στις ρυθμίσεις του modem εμένα. Έχω το Prestige 650R-31, αλλά και τώρα μερικές φορές μου κάνει τα ίδια κολλήματα. Αφού κάνω restart το modem τις περισσότερες φορές φτιάχνει (αν και υπάρχοτν εξαιρέσεις).
