Κι ομως ειναι μολυβενιο.... Οταν ο Page εφυγε απο τους Yardbirds για να φτιαξει το καινουργιο συγκροτημα, ο Clapton (ή ο Beck) του ειπε αστειευομενος πως το καινουργιο του γκρουπ "will go down like a lead zeppelin"... Το αλλάξανε και το εκαναν "Led". Αυτά...
Δεν ηταν ουτε ο Clapton ουτε ο Beck, και δεν μπορω να θυμηθω το ονομα αυτου που το προτεινε κιολας. Τελος παντων, αυτο που εννοουσε με την λεξη δεν ηταν lead = μολυβδος, ηταν lead = ηγουμαι ( ηγετικο ) και ειπαν επειδη δεν θα ειναι ευκολο να το προφερουν οι αμερικανοι το αλλαξαν σε led. ;) ( κατι μαθαμε και εμεις απο το ιντερνετ, μετα βεβαια εμαθα την παναγια και τον χριστο απ'εξω απο τον πατερα μου και τους λογαριασμους τησ 56κ :haha )

Οναρ - Τι με κοιτάς
Επιμενω (χωρις να ειμαι 100% σιγουρος) πως οποιος ηταν αυτος που τον δουλευε, λεγοντας "lead" εννοουσε μολυβενιο. Ενα μολυβενιο ζεπελιν ειναι αδυνατο να πεταξει..... --> μπουμ. Ακομα κι αν δεν ειπωθηκε ετσι, lead δεν θα μπορουσε να σημαινει ηγετικο (leading) αλλα καθοδηγουμενο... ;)

Aπο οτι βρηκα και ( ξανα ) διαβασα για να το σιγουρεψω, η ιστορια εχει ως εξης. Ο keith moon ( drummer των WHO ) ειναι αυτος που λεγεται οτι βρηκε το ονομα ( και για εναν αλλον λενε αλλα εχω να ασχοληθω πολλα χρονια και δεν θυμαμαι ), μαλιστα σε εναν διαλογο με τον κιθαριστα ( τοτε ) των yardbirds ( jimmy page ) του ειπε οτι αυτο το συγκροτημα θα βυθιστει σαν ενα μολυβενιο zeppelin. Οποτε ημουν λαθος :( ( αν και ειμαι 1000% σιγουρος οτι καπου σε καποια backup cd - με τις αμετρητες σελιδες που εχω συλλεξει για τους zeppelin - εχω ολη την ιστορια, και οτι δεν εννοει μολυβενιο. τελος παντων ).
Θα συνεχισω το ψαξιμο παντως, μπας και βρω καμια ακριβεστερη πληροφορια.
Προς το παρων ακουω κατω στο υπογειο τον Christo να κανει τρυπες στους τοιχους με το δραπανο :D
Από όσα θυμάμαι (υπάρχει και το αλτζχάιμερ μην ξεχνάτε) , μάλλον η ιστορία με τον keith είναι η σωστή.
Χαίρομαι όμως που υπάρχουν και νεώτεροι που ασχολούνται με τους μέγιστους !
