Επιστροφή στο Forum : Yahoo! Mail - POP3 & SMTP servers. υπάρχουν; δουλεύουν;
σε μια συζήτηση που είχα πρόσφατα (και μιας και το θυμήθηκα), μία γνωστή μου επέμενε ότι λαβαίνει (και στέλνει) e-mail απο Yahoo! account χρησιμοποιώντας το outlook χωρίςνα πληρώνει για Yahoo! mail plus...
είχα την εντύπωση ότι αν δεν πληρώσει κάποιος για Yahoo! mail plus δε γίνεται να λάβει και να στείλει e-mail από ένα "κλασσικό" mail client... (το e-prompter δεν το θεωρώ κλασσικό)...
έψαξα λοιπόν και βρήκα κάτι pop3 και smtp του στυλ smtp.mail.yahoo.com (δε θυμάμαι και ποιοι ήταν ακριβώς) αλλά δε δούλεψαν με το outlook...
τελικά γίνεται ή δε γίνεται να έχεις POP3 και SMTP με servers του Yahoo!; (και να ξεχάσεις το web interface και το e-prompter)

Αν ανοίξεις ένα yahoo.gr account ναι μπορείς... με το yahoo.com πρέπει να πληρώσεις για να χρησιμοποιήσεις pop & smtp.
Δουλεύουν free για email username@yahoo.gr όχι yahoo.com
τώρα κατάλαβα, είχαμε και οι δύο δίκιο, απλά, μιλούσαμε προφανώς για διαφορετικά πράγματα (.com εγώ, .gr αυτή)...
από απορία, ποιοι είναι οι POP3 και SMTP για το .gr;
POP3 : pop.mail.yahoo.com (NAI, .com)
SMTP : smtp.mail.yahoo.com (NAI, .com)
Οι ταχύτητες αποστολής και λήψης, είναι πολύ καλές αν κρίνω με το mail account που έχω στην dnhost. Εκεί πάμε με ρυθμούς κοιμισμένης χελώνας.

Επίτρεψέ μου επίσης να προσθέσω ότι αν επιλέξεις ως γλώσσα Αγγλική-Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών θα έχεις 100Mbyte mailbox αντί για 6 που δίνει σε όσους έχουν επιλέξει την Ελληνική.
νόμιζα ότι ήταν 4 μόνο... καλή φάση πάντως... δυστυχώς έχω ήδη δύο accounts και βαριέμαι να μπω στη διαδικασία των αλλαγών...

Αλλα δεν βλέπω να δουλεύουν στο outlook...
Άσε που αν κάνεις την αναβάθμιση σου δίνει το δικαίωμα και για μεγάλα attachments (Έως 10Mbyte).
Για να δουλέψει σε Outlook ή Outlook Express (και γενικά σε πρόγραμμα για POP3) πρέπει αφενός να είναι yahoo.gr (και όχι yahoo.com) ο λογαριασμός σου και αφετέρου να πας μέσω web στα e-mail options και να επιλέξεις την ενεργοποίηση της POP3 υπηρεσίας (μιλάω πάντα για χρήση yahoo mail χωρίς συνδρομή). Κάπου εκεί θα σου πει ότι θα σου στέλνουν και διαφημιστικά e-mail όταν ενεργοποιήσεις αυτή την υπηρεσία.
Εγώ απλά φρόντισα στις προτιμήσεις μου να μην επιλέξω καμία κατηγορία ενδιαφέροντος, οπότε δεν έλαβα εδώ και 2 χρόνια κανένα διαφημιστικό e-mail. Σε κάθε περίπτωση το yahoo έχει πολύ καλή βοήθεια, όπου μπορείς να βρεις απαντήσεις σε όλα σου τα προβλήματα.
Για να δουλέψουν οι POP3/SMTP του YAHOO με οποιοδήποτε mail client (π.χ. Outlook κλπ), θα πρέπει να έχετε ενεργοποιημένο το
"Απαιτείται έλεγχος ταυτότητας από τον διακομιστή"
στις ιδιότητες του συγκεκριμένου mail account.
Μετά, όλα δουλεύουν σφαίρα !

παράλειψη, έννοούσα ότι έχω ήδη δύο .com (με τα 100ΜΒ και τα 10ΜΒ για attach) και τα χρησιμοποιώ πάρα πολλά χρόνια οπότε είναι ψιλο-επίπονο να κάνω την αλλαγή...
αν μπορούσα να κάνω αυτόματα forward τα e-mail μου σε άλλα accounts (καινούρια του .gr) ίσως και να το έκανα (πρέπει να το είχα κοιτάξει παλαιότερα χωρίς παοτέλεσμα)... αλλά, έχω την υποψία ότι μπορεί να αλλάξει η πολιτική τους και να γίνει όπως στο .com κάποια μέρα οπότε why bother...

εγώ πάντως έχω κάνει αυτόματη προώθηση χωρίς πρόβλημα από το yahoo.gr σε vodafone mail και σε gmail... Λογικά δεν θα έχεις πρόβλημα και με το yahoo.com

'Αψογος ο sunblade! Εδώ και 2 χρόνια το χρησιμοποιώ με com account χωρίς το παραμικρό πρόβλημα! :wink:

Μέχρι πριν περίπου 1 μήνα λάμβανα κανονικά το mail μου απο το outlook express.Ο λογαριασμός μου είναι @yahoo.gr. Ξαφνικά δεν μπορώ να λάβω ούτε να στείλω με pop3. Ξέρει κανείς κάτι γι αυτό;
Μηπως ξερει καποιος αν μπορω να βλεπω το yahoo mail μεσω του outlook 2003??

Το έχεις δοκιμάσει πρόσφατα; Το χρησιμοποιούσα έτσι πριν κάνα δυο χρόνια αλλά θυμάμαι κάποια στιγμή το κόψανε για τα free accounts.
Εγω απ οτι ξερω πρεπει να πληρωσεις.Μπορει να κανω και λαθος

Αν προσπαθήσετε να το βάλετε στο γραφείο σας και υπάρχει firewall που δεν το ελέγχεται πιθανών να μην δουλεύει το κόβουν όπως τα p2p. ;)
ακριβώς όπως τα λέει ο Re-Ti-Re
όντως αν προσπαθείτε από κάποιο γραφείο με firewall δεν θα τα καταφέρετε
θα δοκιμασω αυτο που λεει ο re-ti-re αν και νομιζω οτι ετσι τοχα κανει και δεν δουλεψε.
Να πω την αμαρτία μου.
Ούτε και σε μένα δούλεψε με την πρώτη φορά.

Διάβασε το help στο site.
Ειχα την εντύπωση οτι το yahoo.com ήθελε πληρωμή αλλά το yahoo.gr το είχε τσάμπα. Βεβαια αυτό ήταν προ G-mail, οπότε τα στοιχεία μου μπορεί να είναι παρωχημένα ..
Εγώ το χρησιμοποιώ και δεν πληρώνω τίποτα.

Outlook Express allows you to add a new email account to your existing profile. This means you do not have to replace your current settings in order to send and receive Yahoo! Mail messages. Here's how:
From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts."

Προ Gmail ήμουν συνδρομητής του Yahoo plus και πλήρωνα κανονικότατα το POP Access.
Με το που έκοψα τη συνδρομή, κόπηκε και το Pop Access
Καλησπερα παιδες.Μηπως ξερει καποιος πως θα βλεπω τα e-mail στο outlook.Πρεπει να χω το yahoomailplus!? ή γινεται και στο τζαμπα yahoo?Aν γινεται μπορει καποιος να μου πει και τι ρυθμισεις να κανω?:hmm:
Έχει συζητηθεί αρκετά αυτό το θέμα.
Άλλοι λένε ότι δε χρειάζεται το YMailPlus άλλοι λένε ότι χρειάζεται μόνο στην Αγγλική έκδοση της υπηρεσίας κλπ.
Κάνε μία αναζήτηση καλύτερα...:)

Do one of the following:

4. Under User Information, do the following:
1. In the Your Name box, type your full name the way that you want it to appear to other people.
2. In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail user name, followed by @yahoo.com.
5. Under Server Information, do the following:

8. Click More Settings.
9. On the General tab, under Mail Account, type Yahoo! Mail.
10. Click the Outgoing Server tab, and then select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication check box.
11. Click Use same settings as my incoming mail server, and then click OK.
12. Click Next, and then click Finish.
Notes
* Do not select the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box.
* Unless specified by Yahoo! Mail, all server and address entries are typed in lowercase letters.

Εγώ είμαι με Yahoo βρετανικό εδώ και αρκετά χρόνια και τα κατεβάζω τα e-mail με Thunderbird μια χαρά. Όχι δεν έχω πληρώσει τίποτα.
Μπορεις να χρησιμοποιησεις το outlook εαν εχεις λογαριασμο στο yahoo.gr Θα σου χρειαστουν τα παρακατω
