FB 7590 with Cosmote, DSL sync but no Internet

Hi, sorry for english.

i´m using a FB 7590 at home, internetprovider is OTE/Cosmote but i got a Problem. if i like to connect the 7590 only with splitter and Y-cable i will get no Internet Connection - just the DSL sync works but no ip.
Always i run into the same Error. PPPoE Timeout. i use the latest beta 6.98 where is a Profil for Cosmote included, but even with or without i can connect. ist there a trick i have to know About? could´nt find some here in this Forum About.

Two questions. On menu Internet > Account Information:
1. Have you set username/password for your connection?
2. Is the value of VLAN ID 835 (for VDSL) or (in the case of ADSL) VPI/VCI 8/35 respectively?

Yes, username otenet@otenet.gr with otenet as password- like the support from ote said.
VLAN 835 and this vpi8/35 i set also. Yes it’s an adsl connection

You can't have both (VLAN ID and VPI/VCI). Either one must be enabled and for your ADSL connection, just disable VLAN (uncheck "Use VLAN"), so VLAN ID is grayed out.

You have to select other internet service provider (not the default COSMOTE xDSL) and after setup with otenet@otenet.gr or your username/password of your line.

Always the same , dsl synchronize but PPPOE time out ... I was talking with AVM and they said I need PPPOELLC Lockerheit old router .... but there is no support for. Don’t know why by OTE some different protocols used ...

It is very strange to have such problems with either Fritz modem/router on a Cosmote line.
Do you have ADSL or VDSL connection?

I would do the following:
a. Reset Fritz router and upgrade to the latest new firmware v.7. I recommend to run the recovery image, in case something has gone wrong with the previous settings.
b. Manual setting, as reported by Oups, rather than through the Cosmote profile.

That’s not the Fritz Box ...that’s the OTE Router ...
