Τροφή για σκέψη γενικά. Στην ζωή συχνά αλλά ειδικά στην αθλητισμό τα γονίδια μας αγωνίζονται. Μετα τα χημικά και μετά την προπόνηση και το ταλέντο. Δεν λέω ότι δεν σκοτώνεται ο αθλητής και δεν θέλει θυσίες, αλλά κακά τα ψέματα αν δεν γεννηθείς με το φυσικό χάρισμα δεν έχεις ελπίδα. Αν πχ το σώμα σου δεν απορροφά το οξυγόνο ή αν σαν γυναίκα είσαι ανδροθυλικο ή σαν άνδρας μικροκαμωμένος σε βαθμό κραξιματος ή πολλά άλλα άτομα δεν έχεις ελπίδα.

Το γεγονός ότι καθόμαστε και πορωνομαστε για ένα αντικείμενο που ουσιαστικό είναι προδικασμενο υπεε κάποιου με τις ίδιες ώρες προπόνησης δεν αναιρεί τον παράγοντα φυσική ατυχία ή τύχη. Και με την επάνοδο της τεχνολογίας, το τι είναι αποδεκτό φυσικό ή τεχνητό πρωτερημα γίνεται χλωμοτερο.

Νομίζω ότι τα θέματα είναι τρία.
1. Τι κάνεις με περιπτώσεις που αγωνίζονται ως γυναίκες καθαρά τρωλαροντας το σύστημα. Πχ όταν κάποιος έχει γυναίκα και παιδί, αλλά αγωνίζεται ως γυναίκα.
2. Τι κάνεις όταν το inclusivity δημιουργεί exclusivity? Πχ όταν κάποια κοπέλα χάνει την υποτροφία της γιατί ένας κατέβηκε και έκλεψε τη πρώτη θέση.
3. Τι κάνεις όταν πχ ένας μποξερ ή ένας βιαστής σου λέει ότι είναι γυναίκα? Είναι το παράδειγμα στην Αγγλία που ένας βιαστής πήγε φυλακή και στο δικαστήριο δήλωσε ότι αισθάνεται γυναίκα, το δικαστήριο τον έστειλε σε γυναικείες φυλακές όπου έκανε καμία δεκαριά βιασμούς.

Το κοινό σε όλες τις περιπτώσεις είναι η τρολια του συστήματος και οι επιπτώσεις της υποκρισίας.

While Democrats dither over the virtues of 'Medicare for All', the Trump administration is about to embark on an all-out offensive to lower health-care costs in the US.

According to WSJ, Trump is preparing an executive order that would force health-care providers - hospitals, internists, specialists etc. - to disclose the discounted and negotiated rates for various procedures that they negotiate with insurance companies. The order would force more transparency among health-care pricing, an industry that is accustomed to transacting in private.

The idea is that more price transparency would improve consumer choice and stoke more competition, which could exert downward pressure on prices. However, previous attempts to introduce more transparency to the industry have been vehemently resisted by special interests. President Trump is also working on an initiative to lower the cost of prescription drugs.

For example, patients would be able to see the price of a routine scan - like a CAT scan - in advance. If one clinic wants to charge $5,000 for the procedure, the patient can check with another clinic and shop around for the best price. The stunning lack of transparency in this market has allowed for immense cost disparities to persist between various providers - prices that are often completely divorced from the actual cost of the procedure.

The White House is planning a meeting on Friday to iron out the last details of the order.

A bipartisan plan introduced in the Senate is seeking to accomplish something similar by mandating that providers disclose the price of a given procedure within 48 hours of the request.

As WSJ revealed in a blockbuster report published last summer, the opacity surrounding medical-services pricing has sometimes led hospitals to wildly inflate the costs of some of the most common procedures. After receiving complaints about the price of a $50,000 knee surgery from Medicare, the hospital set out to determine how much the surgery actually cost.

The answer? Just $10,550, including the surgeons and the anesthesiologist.

The Trump administration is also weighing whether to use the DoJ's anti-trust authority to break up regional hospital monopolies and encourage more competition.

For years now, health-care costs have dramatically outpaced consumer-price inflation. One researcher who monitored health-care costs over a five-year period from the beginning of 2012 to the end of 2016 found average costs nationally rose by 16%, roughly three times the rate of inflation.

President Donald Trump cheered on Attorney General Bill Barr’s investigation of intelligence officials’ spying on his campaign and detailed his decision to declassify the information in the case.
While speaking to reporters as he left the White House for his trip to Japan on Friday, Trump said Barr will be in charge of the information from various agencies, which he ordered declassified on Thursday night.

“They’ll be able to see how this hoax, how this witch hunt started, why it started. It was an attempted coup or an attempted takedown of the President of the United States,” he said.

Mexico sent a delegation of officials to Washington to try to avert Trump's threats to impose new import tariffs on Mexican goods if the country doesn't do more to keep hundreds of thousands of migrants from pouring through its territory.

Mexico has shown some signs of coming to heel in the wake of Trump's latest tariff threat. The president has warned that 5 per cent border levies on all its exports to the United States will take effect on Monday, and rise to as much as 25 per cent later this year.

The Mexican Finance Ministry said Thursday that it blocked the bank accounts of 26 people for their alleged involvement in human trafficking.

The ministry's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) said in a statement that it froze the accounts due to 'probable links with human trafficking and illegal aid to migrant caravans.'

Trump said Wednesday that a 'lot of progress' still had to be made to halt his tariff plan, even as members of Congress in his own party are publicly opposing it.

Underscoring the scope of the border problem, the Department of Homeland Security announced Wednesday that US Border Patrol apprehensions of migrants illegally crossing the border hit the highest level in more than a decade in May.

They made 132,887 apprehensions, including a record 84,542 adults and children traveling together and 11,507 children traveling alone.

Trump, traveling in Europe, tweeted from Ireland that the Washington talks would continue 'with the understanding that, if no agreement is reached, Tariffs at the 5% level will begin on Monday, with monthly increases as per schedule.'
