Ερωτηση αν το εχετε δει , κατεβασα απο εδω το https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/supp...l=vmg3625-t50b το firmware 5.50(ABPM.8.3)C0 και 5.50(ABPM.8.1)C0
τα εβαλα και παρατηρησα οτι δεν με αφηνε να επιλεξω στα Wireless να βαλω MAC Authentication ουτε που μου ανοιγε η επιλογη
Οταν εβαλα το V5.50(ABPM.7.3)C0 που μου εστειλε ο notupus(thanks) τοτε δουλευει το Mac Authentication οπως φαινετε στην φωτο

Τελικά το βρήκα αν είναι ενεργό το MsPro Mesh δεν έχει επιλογή Mac Authentication

Το zyxel, ακριβώς επειδή έχει τη δυνατότητα ξεκλειδώματος και ακόμα και σαν κλειδωμένο έχει πάρα πολλές λειτουργίες - επιλογές, σου δίνει τη δυνατότητα να κάνεις πολλές ρυθμίσεις στο δίκτυό σου, σχετικά εύκολα. Π.χ. εγώ μετά το ξεκλείδωμα έχω απενεργοποιήσει το TR69, το ipv6, έχω ορίσει DNS servers της cloudflare, ενώ έχω περάσει τα στοιχεία VOIP σε άλλο router που βρίσκεται μακριά απο το κύριο, μέσω ασύρματου δικτύου. Επιπλέον, μιας που προκειμένου να ξεκλειδώσει χρειάζεται πείραγμα στον bootloader του, έχω τροποποιήσει τον σειριακό του αριθμό έτσι ώστε ακόμα και αν βρεθεί κάποιος καλοθελητής στο χώρο, να μη μπορεί να βρει το root password.
Σε γενικές γραμμές, είμαι πολύ ικανοποιημένος απο το zyxelάκι.

Εχω γραμμή της Νοβα με οπτική ίνα μέσα στο σπίτι και ο εξοπλισμός που μου έδωσαν είναι ένα ont και το zyxel VMG8623-T50B. Θα προσπαθήσω να βάλω σε bridge το zyxel και σε pppoe το Asus router που έχω.
Η ερώτηση είναι στο Asus πρέπει να ενεργοποιήσω το pppoe relay ?
Επίσης θα έχω σταθερό τηλέφωνο μετά ?

Εγώ μολις έκανα update σε Firmware 5.50(ABPM.9.2)C0 , μετά δεν άφηνε να αλλάξω σε άλλων firmware downgrade

Όπως το περίμενα Η έκδοση Firmware 9 και άνω διαθέτει έλεγχο υπογραφής και χρειάζεστε ειδικά μεταγλωττισμένο firmware για να υποβαθμίσετε την έκδοση. Τέτοιο υλικολογισμικό δεν είναι διαθέσιμο, οπότε μόνο η σειριακή μέθοδος αναβάθμισης θα λειτουργήσει μετά από αυτό

Brief description; FTP must be open. Download the conf. file and find FTP.("Enable":False, ) y "Enable":true, change.
Use Zarchiver text.Then upload the conf. file you edited back to the modem as a supervisor.

Then establish a FTP Remote connection with file manager plus.with your supervisor session. On the page that opens, Data and FW folders will appear. Copy and paste the Abpm7.3CO bin file into it.That's all. If your connection to Morem disconnects and restarts, you did the right thing.

I don't know Greek, neighbor. But I tried to help somehow in the other thread.You can go back to old versions by uploading FW via FTP.

Oh interesting, I didnt know that was possible, it was interesting for me the fw folder is used for ftp and possibly scp uploads. Ours have ssh open so thats what we could use to upload there. We here have found out that you can modify the bootloader bits to get successful firmware uploads from the web interface, I assume based on other samples once you go into the public firmware you dont have to do that since your bits are probably correct. What could also be viable is a version of firmware that has firmware signing disabled but itself is signed. It is possible since zyxel does provide the full source code to compile your own firmware for these devices. That forum thread I hadnt found in my research so I was just made aware of it and I will try to see what have you figured out and try porting it to this forum after testing it on our local units.
