AVM LTE 6850 IPV6 Cosmote Help (English)

Hello,

sorry I only speak English and I need your help:

I am 6 months in Greece and I have a AVM 6850 LTE Modem + Cosmote Prepaid SimCard.

The modem works perfect with IPv4, but I can not get IPv6 to work. My Settings:



When I activate IPv6 I get the options:

- native IPv4 with 3GGP protocol

- native IPv6

- IPv6 with tunnel protocol



I tried them all, and I get a ipv6 adress in my settings (I censored):




BUT when I go the any website and do a ipv6 TEST, it says FAILED.

How do I turn IPv6 Support on? What am I doing wrong? Does Cosmote dont support IPv6 via mobile sim prepaid?

Hello friend

1. Click "Home Network" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
2. Click "Network" in the "Home Network" menu.
3. Click on the "Network Settings" tab.
4. Click "Additional Settings" in the section "LAN Settings" to display all of the settings.
5. Click the "IPv6 Settings" button.
6. Enable the option "Assign unique local addresses (ULA) as long as no IPv6 connection exists (recommended)".
7. Enable the options "Enable DHCPv6 server in the FRITZ!Box for the home network" and "Only assign DNS server".
8. Click "OK" to save the settings and on the FRITZ!Box, confirm that the procedure may be executed if asked to do so.
9. Also make sure you use 3GPP protocol release 8 for ipv4

I am of topic and I hope that your problem has been resolved but I am thinking of buying the exact same modem/router for stability and QoS issues I have with the one provided by Cosmote. Have you noticed any significant improvements? Iis this worth buying it?

Sorry man for answering one year later. I just forgot. I am back in Greece again for half year. This time: ipv6 is not working at all. I tried all settings like nicolasdrnicolasdr recommended, but it is just no working.

hey bro,

i tried everything you said. no chance. no i dont even get ipv6 in my router anymore. tried every option. it is not even saying why there is no ipv6 in the log files... dont know what to do. but thank you man.
