In June, AVM launches the two top models FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro and FRITZ!Box 7690.

In June, AVM launches the two top models FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro and FRITZ!Box 7690.

The FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro premium model is suitable for both fiber optic and DSL connections thanks to integrated modems and offers as a powerful triband Wi-Fi router, the ultra-fast Wi-Fi 7 – ideal for surfing,
streaming, home office and gaming.
The top DSL model FRITZ!Box 7690 can be used in all DSL networks and also supports Wi-Fi 7, with a doubled WLAN performance compared to its predecessor – perfect for a seamless online experience in all areas.
Both models have 2.5 and 1 Gbit/s LAN ports as well as USB port for maximum connection variety.

In addition, they support the standards Zigbee, DECT ULE and in the future also Matter, which enables the integration of many devices from other manufacturers into the smart home.
Comfortable and versatile telephony functions, intelligent security features and the well-known advantages of FRITZ!OS such as WLAN guest access,
child protection and automatic updates make the new FRITZ!Box models a future-proof control centre for every home.
The FRITZ!Box 7690 is from the 3rd June at the price of 329 euros (RRP) and the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro will be available at retail price during June for the price of 359 euros (RRP).

The professional for fiber optics and DSL:

FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro: Triband-FRITZ!Box for Fiber and DSL with Wi-Fi 7 and Zigbee

Thanks to integrated modems, the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro can be used both on the fiber optic and DSL connections and is perfectly suitable for switching from the copper line to glass fiber.
For optical fiber, it reaches top speeds of up to 2.5 Gbit/s, on the DSL connection up to 300 Mbit/s.
The new FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro offers a very powerful triband mesh including 6 GHz, the new third frequency band in the WLAN, so that wireless surfing, streaming, gaming and more will continue to run fast and smoothly in the future.
The new FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro supports the current WLAN standard Wi-Fi 6 at 2, 4 GHz as well as the new Wi-Fi generation Wi-Fi 7 with improvements in latency, speed and throughput at 5 and 6 GHz.

Up to 18.5 GBit/s can be reached via the 12 antennas. In addition to this WLAN force, the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro also convinces with its wired networking.
It has a 2.5 GB/s LAN port, which can also be used as a WAN port for connection to a fiber optic modem, as well as four 1 GBit/s LAN ports. The high-end model also offers great flexibility in the smart home.

Thanks to the support of Zigbee, DECT ULE and in the future also Matter, many devices from other manufacturers can be integrated in addition to the smart FRITZ! products.
Together with a comprehensive telephone system and integrated answering machines, firewall, guest Wi-Fi, parental control and much more, the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro is the ultimate all-rounder in the digital home of private users

In addition, it scores with increased VPN performance: VPN connections via IPsec are around twice as fast as with previous models, while WireGuard can achieve an increase of up to 20 percent.

The new DSL top model:

FRITZ!Box 7690 – for performance shear on the DSL connection

The new FRITZ!Box 7690 sets new standards in terms of speed, performance and versatility.
It can be used in all DSL networks and achieves speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s at the connection.
The DSL top model supports the new Wi-Fi generation Wi-Fi 7 at 5 and 2.4 GHz and sparkles thanks to the 4x4 equipment via eight antennas.

For ultra-fast surfing, streaming and gaming, the FRITZ!Box 7690 alone achieves a WLAN tempo of up to 7.2 Gbps wirelessly, which represents a doubled performance compared to the predecessor model.
The new model also has a lot to offer for wired networking: two 2.5-GBit/s LAN ports, one of which can also be used as a WAN port, for example, for connection to a fiber optic modem,
and two 1 GBit/s LAN ports ensure a fast and reliable connection to other devices in the network.
The powerful hardware with multi-core processor also enables the accelerated processing of the data packages, which significantly improves the efficiency and reaction speed of the FRITZ!Box 7690.

Due to the large storage capacity, the router is optimally equipped for future function updates. The FRITZ!Box 7690 also has a lot to offer in terms of VPN performance.
With WireGuard, it achieves a six-fold increase compared to its predecessor, while IPsec can achieve around three times faster VPN connections.
Users have more options in the smart home with the FRITZ!Box 7690.
The new DSL model supports the smart FRITZ!DECT products and additional Zigbee, so that many smart home devices from other manufacturers, such as LED lamps, can be integrated.

The FRITZ!Box 7690 is also prepared for Matter. The extensive telephony functions known from FRITZ!Box with call forwarders and answering machines as well as the FRITZ!OS with firewall, parental control, WLAN guest access and much of them leave nothing to be desired on the DSL connection.

ααααα.. μου λέγανε δεν ισχύουν εδώ οι τιμές Γερμανίας !!

Στο γερμανικό 5590 , δεν μπορείς να βάλεις το international firmware?

Νομίζω ότι μπαίνει.. και βασικά ότι είναι τα ίδια..

Απλά όποιος αγοράσει το Γερμανικό πρέπει να αγοράσει και μία διαφορετική οπτική ίνα που θέλει σε Cosmote.
Εδώ η AMY στην δίνει μαζί με το ρούτερ.

Να δούμε εάν θα βάλει ποτέ η AVM Cosmote profile και στα Fiber..
