Cosmote 5 G Hybrid Router?

Hello, I am currently using a 4G Hybrid Router from Cosmote, has anyone heard of a Hybrid 5G? That would be the best solution for me. Thanks!

Unfortunately, that’s not possible. Speed Booster only works with Cosmote’s 4G network.
Check your CPE model. If it is the HUAWEI HA35-10/11 then you qualify for a free replacement with the newest model which supports 4G+. If that’s the case, call 13788 or visit a Cosmote/Germanos store to complete the replacement process.

If there is good 5G signal you might consider cancelling the vdsl service alltogether and getting a cosmote 5G sim with unlimited data and a 5G router of your choice (by purchasing it).
If higher speeds is what you want.

You can even get an extra sim for it with 3,5 euros per month, and have unlimited data both in your mobile phone, and on the router.

Currently I see no 5g-capable routers available.
It used to have a huawei pro 2 for something like ~400€, but it looks it ain't available now.
Many options available at the open market, but 5G is still rather expensive (400-500€ easily for something decent).

Extra sims provided under the gigamax unlimited contract have the option to enable the "vpn-internet" apn,
in which case you:
a) do get a public/routable ip (ipv4 only, no ipv6), and
b) also get a speed limit @150/50.

If you want to consider switching xdsl->4/5G the 1st step would be to check reception/speed in your area.

Since you need a public IP, and Cosmote has the limit of 150/50 on the "vpn internet" apn, there is no point in buying an expensive 5G router.

Maybe try the newer 4G+ model of the hybrid router that was suggested above, which you can get for free?

Good evening cosmote has double play sim and has 2 connections one with 4g router and one with 5g router . The month prices for 4g it is 35,90 euro and for 5g it is 49,90 euro but it is a better solution to has internet connection by cosmote 5g with free router .

You need to cancel the hubrid router booster to take the double play sim 5g ! . The data it is unlimited .
