Άμα δεν έχεις κάρτα μαπίτσα σαν τη δική μου, επειδή δε παίζω παιχνίδια, η οποια είναι και fanless. Οπότε δε το βρίσκω και τόσο καλή ιδέα

Πρόσθεσα κι άλλο διπύρηνο μηχανάκι (FreeBSD7 x64), το οποίο με παίδεψε όμως λιγάκι.

1. Αν και αναφέρει BSD build το Stanford, ήθελε Linux compat άρα δεν έχει native BSD support (οκ λογικό).
2. Στα FreeBSD ports είχε τον 5.04 άρα έπρεπε να κατεβάσω νεότερο (οκ λογικό)
3. Η κονσόλα 6.24 δεν έπαιξε με τίποτα (άγνωστο, ενώ είναι 64αρι αλλά βαρέθηκα να το ψάξω)
4. Για να λειτουργήσουν 2 κονσόλες με 6.02, χρειάστηκε "brandelf -t Linux FahCore*"

Ξαναξεκίνησα το folding μετά από παύση μερικών ημερών λόγω τεχνικών προβλημάτων (εκτελούσε μόνο 1 WU και σταματούσε), υποψιάζομαι όμως ότι σχετιζόταν με πρόβλημα στο λειτουργικό. Αν επαναληφθεί, θα σας ενημερώσω με τα errors μπας και φτιάχνεται χωρίς re-install.

Να δοκιμάσω αυτό που λέει ο EvilHawk εδώ για το advmethods; Edit: [ Τελικά είναι ήδη no ] - Καμμιά ιδέα;

Υ.Γ. Μου κάνει εντύπωση ότι στο μέρος που έχω κοκκινίσει, αρχίζει να "πετάει" γραμμές χωρίς λογική, του στυλ: "n Go file".

Μου φαίνεται οτι εγκατέστησες τον MPICH core αλλά τον τρέχεις με flag DEINO.
Για δοκίμασε να βγάλεις το -deino.

Τώρα γιατί εμφανίζει αυτό το env για MPICH δε ξέρω, ορίστε και το --help:

Εγώ πάντως μόνο MPICH χρησιμοποιώ γιατί είναι και κατά κάτι γρηγορτερος.
Ο Deino ήταν μιά λύση με τον 6.22 ο οποίος "κόλαγε" σε διακοπές του δικτύου.
Ο 6.23 δεν έχει πλέον τέτοιο πρόβλημα οπότε συνιστώ τον MPICH ανεπιφύλακτα.

Πάντως το οτι λειτουργούσε πριν μια βδομάδα οπως λές δεν έχει σημασία γιατί βλέπω οτι πρόκειται για νέα εγκατάσταση οπότε, δοκίμασε MPICH και βλέπουμε.

Ά και κάτι άλλο, τον νού σου στο firewall και το SMPD και το MPIEXEC πρέπει να περνάνε

Edit: [ Επίσης το "Got a SIGTERM signal" νομίζω οτι σχετίζεται με την μνήμη, οπότε δοκίμασε να την αναβάσεις λίγο (στο 512) ας πούμε. ]

Δοκίμασα με 512MB μνήμη, τίποτα. Επιπλέον έβγαλα τον Deino (uninstall απ΄το add/remove και διαγραφή από το C:\folding των αρχείων), έστησα το MPICH στο c:\FAH, αλλά δε τρέχει ούτε καν το install.bat

Το έψαγα και βρήκα αυτό εδώ: http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=4555 - δοκίμασα MPICH service restart, τίποτα. Ίσως βοηθήσει με reboot, όπως έφτιαξε σε έναν, αλλά δυστυχώς αυτό δε μπορεί να γίνει σύντομα.
