Καλησπέρα παίδες.
Ακόμα δεν πήρα το eeePC 1000h και θέλω να το σκαλίσω
Δεδομένου ότι έχει full σαβούρα, θέλω να το boostάρω όσο τον δυνατό περισσότερο με την λιγότερη δυνατή απώλεια στην αυτονομία:
1) Clean install των XP (δεν έχω original cd και δεν μπορώ να βρω πλέον, τι κάνουμε;) || Κόστος: 0€
2) Αναβάθμιση RAM στα 2GB || Κόστος: ~22€
3) SDHC 8GB για το swap (pagefile) || Κόστος: ~20€
4) 7200άρης σκληρός 320GB || Κόστος: ~100€
[τα παραπάνω είναι με σειρά προτεραιότητας]
Έτσι μου δημιουργήθηκε το ερώτημα... Αν κάνω τα 1-2-3 άμεσα και αφήσω το 4 για το μέλλον, θα δω αρκετή βελτίωση στην απόδοση του μικρού;
Επίσης μ' ενδιαφέρει να μου πει κάποιος τι μπορώ να κάνω με τα XP που δεν υπάρχει cd για clean install...

Gordito Guest1) Μπορεις να βρεις στο net διαφορες μεθοδους για να βαλεις τα XΡ απο usb. Εγω ετσι τα εχω βαλει (στο 701)
3) Εχω αγορασει και εγω μια τετοια καρτα, αλλα οχι για το swap. Δεν εχω καθολου swap και το μασινι δεν εχει κολησει ποτε.

"Καθαρά" XP που μπορώ να βρω όμως; Αληθεύει πως μπορώ να φτιάξω bootable CD/USB Flash/whatever από τον φάκελο I386 που βρίσκεται στον φάκελο των Windows στο eeePC μου;

...λοιπόν επειδη εχω και γω το συγκεκριμένο, θα σου έλεγα να βάλεις οπωσδήποτε 2GB Ram αλλά μην κανεις κίνηση για 7200 rpm δίσκο είναι πολυ ενεργοβόρος και θα ρίξεις πολύ την αυτονομία του + πολύ θορυβώδης και ζεστός!!
Καλύτερα να περιμένεις λίγο και να πάς κατευθείαν σε SSD, θα δέις μεγάλη διαφορά στα ΠΑΝΤΑ και θα αυξηθει η αυτονομία του
Tώρα για τα υπόλοιπα θα βρέις να πάντα εδώ

Βαριέμαι να διαβάζω.
Το upgrade του OS θα είναι XP ---> Windows 7
Όσο για την αναβάθμιση στο hardware του χρόνου θα τσιμπήσω μια 2άρα RAM. Ελπίζω να με καλύψει
