Λοιπον επειδή πολλά ακούστηκαν οτι ειναι fake κ .τ.λ (όποιος το ψάξει σε κάποιο ed2k forum θα καταλάβει τι εννοώ) αναγκάστηκε ο Simon Moon να δώσει τις παρακάτω εξηγήσεις..Τις παραθέτω απο άλλο site... το καλό είναι οτι το πρωην μεγαλύτερο ed2k site ξαναάνοιξε

I sold it to someone i know is NOT in any way conencted to the authorities. I inquired about the situation and it's very simple. They host the mainpage in the netherlands. while the forum is hosted in the US. they asked me if i had ever problems with the forums, and i never did, not even when it was hosted in the US (and it was before already, so thats a bit of a stupid way to go about it). Even worse, heard of all that cracking down on ed2k sites in germany a couple years back? The forum was hosted for about a YEAR in germany at that point already. So all that running around with tinfoil hats is very very foolish and pretty hypocritical. checking the netcraft details, that got quoted so many times already, why nobody notices that?

I owned sharer**ctor.com from the begining, they did not (and could not) confiscate it, so it was still my property. I chose to sell my property because i got a good offer. I only sold the domain, nothing else.

My case is still going on. They still cant get me for ANYTHING. Wanna know the worst possible thing that could happen to me, like what the prosecuter wanted? 2 years on probation, and if i break probation, a fine of 3000 CHF. Since this is already 2 years old, and i wont set foot on swiss soil for at least 2 years, its impossible for me to violate that probation in any possible outcome, so its null in the end, and thats the WORST possible outcome.

I dont know what else i should have said on the respectp2p page really, i think all important info is there. Oh yes, and those are the real admins. They contacted me before accepting anything, so it is them, and not imposters. Of course i could be lie right now, but then would all those other people that are in the community and know the same people also lie all at once?

That whole "Its a sting operation", "honeypot!!!!111" and "this is fishy" is just a manifestation of the usual P2P paranoia. Useful to have a certain amount of it, but you also can over do it. I think once the page has been around for a month or so, people will start to recognize that this is a real thing.
