Port forward port 80 on Speedport W 724V?

Hi All,

(Sorry for writing in English, I live in Athens but still learning Greek)

I have OTE ADSL and a Speedport W 724V. I'm trying to port forward port 80, and I think the router just can't do it, but would love to hear from anyone that has done it.

I can forward any other external port to internal port 80 (i.e, I set external range 3000-3000 and internal range 80-80, and it works fine accessing http://MY_EXTERNAL_IP:3000 from a remote host).

But if I do external 80-80 and internal 80-80, I just get connection time out, so it looks like it can't deal with this case.

I also can't find any user setting for putting the management interface on a different port, or for disabling remote administration (which is enabled by default).

Anyone have any suggestions or other stuff to try? Anyone got into any kind of ssh console on this device?

Thanks for any help, I did find some resources on this but they're in German and Greek and don't appear to have solutions :-(
