so if i understand correct you want to connect 4 devices behind the speedport 2i?

yes that is correct. The speedport 2i router is already working as well as one router on the left side connected in a bridge mode. The branch consisting of four devices in series is causing me trouble. I have tried to do it, but I do not know how to configure the WAN and it seems to me that these devices are not "user friendly".

ok thanks, i don't own the 2i and to honest i do not bother with isp's modems to check what featuers has, but in this case i think you need a modem with multi VLAN support (if there are several devices behind the 2i) .. if the 2i supports VLAN should be fine but not excerpt in networking, in such large network

if the 2i does not support, look at the drayteks, are brilliant & so many choices

Hi Babis,
I cannot find any VLAN option in Speedport 2i. I guess it is not an option with this device. Can I configure the same virtual LAN in different areas? I intend to create a cable connection between routers in different areas (each floor + garden). The house is made of stone and concrete+metal so it needs a router on each floor and cabling in-between. End device (phone/tablet/notebook) will be connected via WiFi. I want to operate the house and barbeque garden on the same SSID/password, but separate from the source LAN.
I think WAN with routers in series is suited for this application well. I prefer localized low output WiFi routers which I already have connected via a cable, but I were to buy new devices, I would go for clean aesthetic wireless design thus avoiding wires and cable grounding.
Now back to my current issue. WAN configuration is causing me troubles
First I configured the WAN connection tab like this:
The only thing I am not sure is the VPI/VCI. I simply used the same value as on the bridged router already working.
In the section "Port binding" I have configured the internet and WAN ports. Into the LAN 1 goes a cable from the main Speedport 2i router and from the LAN 2 I will go to the next router in series. So I set it like this:
So far, so good. it seems working. Then comes the LAN tab and here I get into problems:
Main speedport 2i router is at IP 192.168.1.1 .
This "WAN" router which we are setting up is by default at 192.168.1.254.
Do you know how to configure the WAN here? I can`t figure it out.

Hi, i have no idea about the capabilities of the 2i, sorry .. Also i am not the best in large networking .. i have the ZTE w300 from isp and this in its box since 4 years ago ... hopefully a 2i owner / user will advise
Mainly posted to let you know that you may need an other modem with VLAN really ( i may be wrong)

Nevertheless, thank you for your effort and English it helped. I had a feeling that no one will reply at all

With OTE it's possible to have 2 simultaneous PPPoE connections if option "PPPoE Passthrough" is selected on Speedport (default setting).
On ZTE VPI/VCI must be 8/35, MTU=1492 and Username/Password the same with Speedport (that OTE gave you).
Your plan should work properly if Η108L can work as a normal router. This means that a LAN port can work as WAN.
I do not know what Η108L is capable of, so my only doubt is if ZTE can do that (work as normal router), as most of DSL routers dont't.
The other solution is to be in it's place a WiFi router (e.g. TL-WR841N or similar).
